Sous Chef Michelle Minori started her career in San Francisco working at the acclaimed 2 Michelin starred restaurant, Aqua, where she discovered her love for culinary technique. Over the next several years, she sought to refine her technique and develop her sense of craft at San Francisco Michelin starred restaurants Acquerello and La Folie.
A short stint moonlighting at Daniel Patterson’s il Cane Rosso opened Michelle’s eyes to the wonders of refined rustic cuisine. She then spent 2 ½ years at James Beard Best New Restaurant nominee Flour + Water. Michelle learned the nuances of wood fire cookery and the art of butchering whole animals, and shortly rose to the level of Sous Chef. Of all her work at Flour + Water, she is most proud of creating their bread program, which focused on natural starters and whole heirloom grains.
As opening Sous Chef of Faith and Flower, Michelle brings a deep knowledge of contemporary fine dining technique paired with an understanding of primal and heritage cooking styles.
