Michael Lay

Chief Mixologist ​Michael lay is no stranger to the restaurant industry. He has worked various positions in many different restaurant and bars spanning the west coast, now landing in Downtown Los Angeles. In 2011, he helped open James Beard-nominated “Best New Restaurant”- Restaurant 1833. His work at Restaurant 1833 has won him numerous awards. Michael then headed to Las Vegas to launch the bar program at Rose.Rabbit.Lie in The Cosmopolitan.

He has been featured as Zagat’s “30 Under 30″ two years in a row. His cocktails have been featured in GQ, Robb Report, Wine Enthusiast, Tasting Panel, National Geographic, Restaurant Hospitality, Perfect Spot SF, Alcademics, Food GPS, LAist, Thrillist. Michael’s passion and talent has given Faith & Flower’s bar program nationwide recognition. His English Milk Punch has won him Esquire’s “Cocktail of The Year” in 2014.
